GeneSpring

Although GeneSpring can bedownloaded and installed in individual labs across campus, BimCore has licensed only 3 concurrent seats. Please schedule GeneSpring sessions on the calendar, and logout out of your session when you are complete. This will free up the seat for the next person. If you need additional time for calculations, etc., check the calendar and contact the appropriate persons.

Ingenuity IPA

While BimCore subscribers can obtain an Ingenuity account, we have only a single seat, which means that only one subscriber at a time can use the Ingenuity seat. Therefore please schedule Ingenuity sessions on the Ingenuity calendar, and logout out of your session when you are complete. This will free up the seat for the next person.

Sybyl

Currently there is one workstation available at Bimcore (Room B28; 1462 Building) for molecular modeling and visualization using Sybyl. Please contact Kim Gernert for scheduling and access to the workstation.

File Storage

Although you are required to copy active data files onto the BimCore workstations PLEASE remove all files at the end of your session(s).  A zip drive, writable CD and direct machine to machine FTP are available.  Upon request we can make arrangements for data storage.
